Came across a job search engine, although not searching for a job.

It is indeed very useful to jobseekers.

No need to roam around and find jobs on different portals like naukri, monster, yellojobs and so on. It gives free access to millions of employment opportunities from thousands of websites. Indeed.co.in includes all the job listings from major job boards, newspapers, associations and company career pages – and it continues to add new sites every day.

Further it gives rss feeds for the searches you subscribe, that’s really useful.

The convergence between popular job portals and indeed could have been bettered had it offered services of storing CVs and applying directly to a job. You cannot enter your resume and apply to jobs directly on Indeed.

It is for employers too.

Employers can provide their xml job feed and their jobs would be listed on indeed. If you don’t know xml and technical terms, just give your url to indeed and it will start searching for jobs on the given url.
