Google Apps

Yesterday I registered for Google Apps. I had to book a domain too. Google Apps Standard Edition offers that too. It took less than 10 minutes for me to book my domain and get live with my email pop3/IMAP mails.

Google Apps is currently charging 10 USD for domain booking whereas networksolutions is charging 9 USD. The benefit of registering your domain with google is that it comes pre-configured with Google Apps. In the other case, you need to make CNAME changes.

All in all it was a good experience.
